Park Meadows Lodge exudes that casual cool vibe you've been missing.
When you walk in the front door you never know what you'll find...some nights there might be a live band playing, other nights you might find an intense game of Rock Band going on. Honestly, it's hard to say.
After all, unlike a lot of Vail, Park Meadows Lodge isn't new; it was built in 1966 - but it's by far one of the most casual and comfortable places you could spend your vacation. We're akin to your old UGGs that aren't really in style anymore but you can't let go.
If you like buying $12 drinks at the hotel bar, we're not that place. However, if you like bringing your own wine to drink in the lobby and meeting new people visiting from around the world, we're perfect. Park Meadows usually attracts a crowd as international as most hostels you'd run across in Phuket - but our beds are much more comfortable...plus all the rooms have their own kitchens and bathrooms!!!
Are you the sort of person who wants to save the environment? Cool, us too! We use all biodegradable and natural cleaners - plus you can WALK TO THE LIFTS! (Which will save you $25 a day in parking - and we're actually closer to the nearest lift than the Ritz or the Four Seasons...not that we like to brag about such things.) Oh, and all of our water comes straight from an artisanal well so you won't need to buy the bottled stuff for it to taste delicious!
Pets? Yeah, we get them on occasion. We like the well behaved ones that don’t bother other people…if you have one of those, give us a call, we’ll welcome them along!
We have a hot tub. It's hot and the people who hang out in it are cool. Our fireplace makes magic fires. (Ok, not magic per se but we do have burning rocks) Upstairs we have a game room where you can shoot some pool or catch a game of foosball - or head downstairs to our gym and lift some weights if that's your thing.
We obviously have cable TV…but if you’re coming to Vail please don’t sit in the room and watch TV all day - use Hulu when you get home.
Oh yeah, parking is free. So is the WIFI.
